A Family of Photographers

The Giles' Family reside in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario Canada. A perfect place to enjoy photography of small town life & architecture, wildlife, landscapes, and the farming industry etc.

Both John & Ril came into photography in different ways, and though their styles differ greatly, it is a fun hobby that keeps them close and able to enjoy each other's company, while they challenge each other to achieve higher levels of skill while offering input as peers.

The family enjoy taking day trips about the County to shoot the ever changing scenery all year long, and say it is fun and amazing to see the differences three separate eyes can capture of the same subjects.

John

The husband/father of the family is a PC technician and web designer by trade, but was forced into early retirement due to a chronic illness. Though he is limited in his physical abilities to go anywhere to get the shot he may desire, his unique point of view and interest in wildlife, landscapes and architecture create beautiful images admired by many.Click on his picture below to see his portfolio

Ril

The wife/mother is a Singer/Songwriter first, but has love of all forms of art. From Music, to painting, to cake decorating and now Photography and digital rendering to create digital paintings and drawings. She enjoys black & white photography, capturing people and street scenes most. Click on her picture below to see her bio and portfolio

The Kids

The daughter of the family is a homeschooled kid, still discovering the world and deciding what she likes best, while having fun doing it. She enjoys creating sculptures of natural materials like rocks and sticks and flowers, and water, and making them into interesting colorful digitally painted photography.

And, not to be left out, the son and the youngest of the family( preschooler) is currently playing around with his little tykes digital camera, trying to figure it all out. When he shoots anything "worthy" of offering, his biography will be added here as well.
